Direct booking workflow needs work

Direct booking requests are immediately considered reservations per IGMS which obviously is never correct, as the guest has not yet been approved for payment, nor paid for the reservation. This blocks your calendar and creates incorrect messaging which can immediately reveal sensitive information such as check-in codes and address information you do not want a scammer to receive.

The work flow needs to match a standard booking platform or hotel.

For example:

Request -> Accepted -> Paid -> RESERVED → Calendar blocked and messaging sent

Request -> Declined/Ignored -> Not canceled/Not a reservation → No reservation/No block

Request -> Accepted -> Not Paid / Optional Hold period -> Not canceled, but unpaid results in non-reservation → No reservation/No block
