Allow Custom Date and Time Formatting in Message Templates

It would be very helpful if the Message Templates allowed customization of both date and time formats. The current defaults feel out of place—for example, displaying a date as “01 Feb” could instead appear as “February 1, 2024.” Likewise, showing time as “1300” would be clearer as “13:00” or “1:00 pm.”

Ideally, users should be able to define their own format patterns (e.g., YYYYMMDD, HH:MM, AA, etc.), similar to the format-code options offered by many other systems. If needed, I’m happy to provide a full list of common formatting codes; with my 35+ years of software and web development experience, I know these are typically straightforward to implement.

The communication features in IGms are already strong, and this enhancement would make them even better.
