Occupancy Reporting

A report function where you can check the occupancy percentages for one or multiple properties within date ranges and to be able to compare different date ranges (e.g. seasonally or between years).

Core Function:

A reporting tool that allows users to:

• View occupancy percentages for one or multiple properties

• Select custom date ranges

• Compare different time periods (e.g. seasons, months, or year-over-year)

User Inputs:

1. Property Selector

   • Single or multiple properties

   • Grouped by region, owner, or tag (if applicable)

2. Date Range Selector

   • Start Date – End Date

   • Option to compare against another range (e.g. compare Jan–Mar 2025 vs Jan–Mar 2024)

3. Compare Toggle

   • “Enable Comparison Mode” to add a second date range

   • Display as side-by-side or overlay chart

Output/Display:

1. Summary Metrics:

   • Total nights available

   • Total nights booked

   • Occupancy %

   • Revenue (optional if integrated with pricing data)

2. Graphical View:

   • Bar or line chart showing occupancy over time

   • Comparison graphs with different colours or styles

3. Table View:

   • Property | Date Range | Nights Available | Nights Booked | Occupancy %

Optional Features:

• Export to PDF or Excel

• Filter by booking source (Airbnb, direct, etc.)

• Average nightly rate (if revenue data is included)
