Direct Bookings: Payment policy for manual reservations

When adding a manual booking entry to the calendar, it should follow the same payment rules as those set for direct booking. Currently it just requests all money 7-days before check-in date.

As an example, if the direct booking payment rule is set for 50% at booking, and the remaining 50% 30-days before check-in, this is not followed during manual booking entries.

Manuel Reservations should be able to determine payment procedures

Hello, I want to be able to set payment terms when invoicing guests. Common practice on other platforms allow guests to pay 50% at time of booking and 50% 30 days prior to check in. When I manually enter a direct reservation, the invoice sent requires 100% payment and security deposit. I would also like to be able to add a feee to a guest reservation after the invoice was sent. At times, guests request additional guests or a pet that require a fee.

Agree with this post totally! When we do important large bookings (full property), it often calls for a manual invoice set up and occurs months in advance of check-in. But iGMS support has confirmed that the manual bookings does not apply the same rules as the website widget. With such a large total, payments are necessary and, at minimum, a deposit should be able to be taken to secure the dates. Otherwise, the property is reserved for weeks or months with no payment required to hold it. This forces us to go outside of the iGMS system to generate “old school” invoices and make sure we create notes and reminders to follow-up on necessary payments.
