Security deposits: add ability to do a credit card payment HOLD for deposits (Stripe)

Currently STRIPE takes processing fees for the security deposit. It costs me $30 every time i collect a refundable deposit. Stripe has simple instructions to do a auth/capture code for such charges that should be built into IGMS.

New iGMS User Here— I was under the impression it was a HOLD on the guest's credit card and released once I authorized it. Stripe processed the entire payment with the damage deposit and already sent it to my bank account. I had to initiate a wire transfer to get the $300 damage deposit back to Stripe because I was in a negative balance situation once I authorized the release on the iGMS site.
A workaround I am doing now is manually releasing funds from Stripe to my bank account. It was set up on Auto, releasing funds daily. This should keep money in my Stripe account without creating a negative balance situation when releasing the damage deposit back to guests.
Another thing to take note of is that iGMS's default message template for "payment/damage deposit" in the messaging tab should be changed. It states "The damage deposit is held on your credit card, similar to how a hotel holds a certain amount of funds without charging your card.” This is wrong and needs to be changed.
On top of the Stripe processing fees, this Action item needs immediate attention.

Yeah it’s definitely not a hold and the code is already written on stripe website for integration, but IGMS has been very slow to do anything about this. For me, my damage deposit is $1000 and so it has cost me $30 every reservation. If this issue isn’t resolved soon, I will be looking for another PMS because that’s close to $1000 per year probably.

Stripe does not refund the processing fee when giving a deposit back. This feature is needed to save hosts 2-3% on all security deposits.
