Message automation: Apply for last-minute booking improvement
If template is configured to be sent 14-days before check-in. But a reservation happen for example 5 days before the check-in. We want to be able to still choose to send the message in the message template automation settings

Automation Message
We have our Welcome Email automated to send out 72 hours before the guest arrives. However, if the guest books within the 72 hour window, they will not receive an automated email Welcome. There should be a setting where these bookings still get automated messages without us having to manually do so.

Agreed - we have 3 automations that go out with ‘joining instructions’. A long email 7 days before the stay, with details of how to access the property, parking details, etc. Then, five days before the stay, we provide a brief update on cafes and restaurants in the local area. Then, finally, one day before the stay, we send out an abbreviated version of the joining instructions because we found that some people had lost the joining instructions sent a week earlier. Additionally, this helps catch instances when we forget to send out the full instructions because the place was booked after the automations would usually be sent.
Therefore, if someone books after these dates for automations, they will not receive the first and/or second emails. The third one always goes out, as there is a feature which allows you to send at any time on the 24 hours before the trip.
This means that we must remember to send out messages if someone makes a last-minute booking, as the automations will not be triggered.
Could you extend the ‘Apply to last-minute bookings’ checkbox, which currently only appears if you put the 1D (one day) option in for the automation? It would be great if we could send out automations, for example, if someone books 4 days before the stay, and the joining instructions and places to eat automations would trigger the messages at the point of booking.
The key advantage of the automations is that you can forget about regular communications because you trust iGMS to handle them for you. Fixing this gap in the automations would be a real benefit for last-minute (or last-week) bookings.
